April 4: Stand for Workers' Rights & Peace
Apr/11
02
On April 4, join labor and the movements for economic and racial justice to honor Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy on the anniversary of his assassination. Today we must do what Dr King did in 1968. We must march in solidarity with public workers to defend the public services our communities need.
Please join me in Newport on April 4th, 4-6 p.m.. Intersection of 101 and 20th St,, near Fred Meyer and Safeway.
Rally to support worker rights. Bring a sign or carry one provided.
Location was chosen for traffic density only, as Fred Meyer and Safeway are both union shops.
Questions? Contact me by email at renferris@charter.netl or cell 541-270-3786.
Any who can help recruit for this worthy cause please do so.
Thanks,
Rennie Ferris
